We spend substantial time and effort monitoring and researching changing food trends and consumer tastes. We organise gastro tours in the UK and abroad, while our trend spotting teams
cover the country visiting restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, leisure outlets and travel sectors
to keep an eye on exactly what’s happening in the different market sectors.
We have a unique initiative, Food First, which involves everyone in the company in regular tastings, workshops, displays, demonstrations, master classes, competitions and a range of other activities. Food First has become an integral part of our culture helping us to develop the food values, knowledge and skills of all our staff. As a result we all have a real enthusiasm for, and pride in, the foods we produce.
